Welcome to Bitcoiners For Charity, a dedicated initiative under The Kostro Foundation, a recognized and active 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 2022 by Bitcoiner Jimmy Kostro and Fai Chatchayaladasiri, our mission is rooted in supporting orphanages and Childrens Homes across Northern Thailand. We are deeply committed to enhancing the lives of children through scholarships, education, and significant improvements in infrastructure, including water systems, bathrooms, and kitchens in various children's homes.
In 2023, our founders took a bold step by renovating a 50-year-old building in Chiang Mai, Thailand, transforming it into a beacon of hope and learning. This building, located in the city where both founders reside, now serves not only as a learning center and accommodation but also as the headquarters for our philanthropic journey. It has become a local hub for Bitcoin-specific education, welcoming Bitcoin enthusiasts and supporters to engage and contribute to our cause.
Bitcoiners For Charity is not just about providing financial support through Bitcoin donations; we're about creating lasting connections and educational opportunities. At the heart of our mission is the innovative deployment of a single Bitcoin ASIC miner at each sponsored children's home.
